We are proud to announce that we are partnering with new Atlanta label, The Great Big to release a 7″ from Jeffrey Bützer and the Bicycle Eaters. The record is without a doubt a joy to listen to and escape with. If you don’t know about Jeffrey Bützer, you should and you can check his work out here. We’ve worked with on various projects over the past year and we are very honored to be part co-releasing this 7″. The vinyl is a sweet shade of red and sounds rad.

Pastemagazine.com is apparently into what is going on over Pretty Ambitious and we like it!!! They had some very kind words to say about our bands in their List of The Day. For those of you who pre-ordered your Pineapple LP, the latest from The N.E.C., keep an eye on that mailbox. Your copy should be arriving any day now. For those of you who didn’t, fear not! You can get it in stores today! Pick up a copy at Criminal, Wax N’ Facts, or Decatur CD if you are in Atlanta. You can also get copies online or at a show. The boys are out on tour now and if you haven’t experienced them live, well, that you haven’t really experienced them at their finest. We’ll be releasing a digital version soon that will have a bonus track and a digital booklet that you can only get on Itunes.. More details to come. And don’t forget, that yellow vinyl, its limited edition. Just sayin’…

The N.E.C. hits Pitchfork via Altered Zones and more

A stream of the first single from The N.E.C.’s latest creation, Pineapple, has been popping up on blogs this past week. We are super thankful that everyone is taking a listen. From Sounds Better With Reverb to Altered Zones (part of the Pitchfork family) to The Decibel Tolls, the single is making its rounds. The album is out on November 8th.
